Requesting things from God or doing works for God minus intimacy is like slapping raw meat on a plate & telling Him “eat up”…will He eat it? NO. He eats the seasoned & slow-cooked meat. He takes part in what’s prepared for Him. 

God honors His worshippers. He basks in that glory & embellishes us from His overflow. Your service towards Him is shined upon. He loves your love.
